Grimes Leadership Academy

The Grimes Leadership Academy (GLA) is an intense 10-month leadership experience that begins in August, 2024, and concludes in May, 2025.

In exchange for your Business' investment in a GLA participant, you can expect the following:

• Each GLA participant will grow in their understanding of five essential practices of exemplary leadership. These practices include:

• • Modeling the way (set a good example for others in your business)

• • Inspiring a shared vision (envisioning a preferred future and enlisting others to share the vision)

• • Challenging the process (looking for innovative ways to improve by consistently generating small wins and learning from experience)

• • Enabling others to act (fostering collaboration by building trust and facilitating relationships)

• • Encouraging the heart (celebrating your company’s values and victories by creating a spirit of community)

• Each GLA participant will come away from their GLA experience with a much greater understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges present in the Grimes community.

• Each GLA participant will expand his/her network of relationships as he/she will spend approximately 100 hours with fourteen other individuals within the Grimes business and non-profit community.
